The Policy Committee has been busy tracking the legislative session and coordinating with Travis Moore, our Government Affairs Advisor.  Several action alerts have been issued since the previous Board meeting.  The attached slide presentation, which is to be presented during the FNPS Annual Conference, is attached as the Committee's report for April.

Hello Board of Directors!  For the first time in a VERY LONG TIME I am announcing an in-person Board meeting AND that it will be conducted in conjunction with our first in-person Annual Conference since 2019.  This also means it will convene a bit earlier than our regularly scheduled virtual meetings.  The zoom link is provided below for those BoD members who will be unable to attend the Conference.  As usual, if you have a report to file please do so well in advance of the meeting so it can be reviewed beforehand.  An agenda will be posted soon; however, it will be brief because I am planning to limit this meeting to a maximum of 1 hour 15 minutes and the main issue we discuss will be putting the 2024 Annual Report into a final form.  If you have not already done so, please review the draft Report and share any comments or editorial suggestions with Melissa.  Please pay special attention to the section(s) of the report most relevant to your role on the Board.  This is especially important for Committee Chairs. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing many of you in person on the 3rd!

Things are well. Financially I won't know what the totals are until the staff time is accounted for.
Our budget was half-guessing what registrations would be upon our return to in-person and we did overestimate, however I'm expecting income at least consistent with past years.
