MOTION – To accept the new format for regional conferences (loosely based on the landscape brochure regions) for future annual conferences, with the directive that the 2017 conference be held in the West Coast region.

Motion:  to approve FNPS spending $267 (plus tax) for a meeting room for the 2017 Annual Retreat at Gold Head Branch State Park and to spend the money needed to reserve cabins for 39 attendees.

Attached is the Council of Chapters Report. The report contains two Motions associated with the Printing of the Landscape Brochure; please review the report and full motion discussion prior to the 7 p.m. GoToMeeting.

MOTION 1: To allocate $12,000 from Society reserves to be used to print 10,000 copies of our Landscape Brochure for each of the six regions of Florida.

MOTION 2: That $2,400 be allocated for Donna Bollenbach to complete preparation of the six Regional Brochures for final vetting through the various FNPS agencies needed to assure a professional result.

Motion: Approve Budget amendment to increase membership accounts by $1200 for printing 5,000 membership brochures and postage to send to chapters. Payment to come from the FNPS checking account.

Almost done with conference income/expenses. The conference did generate revenue. Some minor payments are outstanding from the Silent Auction. I have more work to do on expenses.

All 2016 Research and Conservation award payments have been sent.
