We have a great candidate for Education Committee Chair, Nicole Cribbs, whose statement of qualification and interest is attached to this posting.  Wendy Poag fro Lake County will work closely with Niki and it sounds like they are ready to hit the ground running with a big list of projects - some Wendy mentioned at the August meeting.

Motion included:
Approve proceeding with grant application for 2017 conference funding from the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program. We are requesting up to $5,000.

Finance Committee:  We need to decide if we want to partner with the TK Tree Institute for 2 upcoming trips to Cuba.  Please note, they have reduced our share of the revenue to $200/pp.  In the past it was $250/pp.  Also, their prices have increased again.
