Motion: To approve the FNPS identity standards as posted at https://fnps.org/handbook/fnps-facts/identity-standards/Please note: this motion is asking for approval of changes to the handbook as we are updating the handbook to be consistent with what the BOD already approved in 2015 plus minor changes to make use consistent with our current structure and state and federal regulations. Given that it is minor, we are proposing that the motion be approved as part of the consent agenda.
Also attached is a proposal for hosting CiviCRM by Giant Rabbit. I talked to them, and asked for more information, but the proposal itself was unsolicited. It is being presented for 2 reasons:
- it has an overview to the types of things we are seeking
- so that you can see the general magnitude of a competent proposal, at current going rates, for hosting CiviCRM.
Customizations and website management would be additional. They do say that they do not charge unless the work is done. This firm wanted total control and hence is not on our initial list of preferred firms as we have two even more competent firms that are willing to work with us to figure out ways to let us do what we can do (a lot) and schedule customization over a period of time based on importance. The hourly rate appears to be an industry standard and I've seen worse.
