How can we increase the attendance of young people at the Conference?

This can be student and young professionals/public sector.

Are Chapters willing to provide scholarships?

Can we coordinate funding between chapters?

Where should chapters seek young people to encourage?

Other questions or out of the box thinking? Go for it!

in return for scholarship, student/young professional should volunteer to spend some time working at the conference

The Palm Beach County Chapter does not have a formal program to encourage youth Conference attendance. We did sponsor an art exhibit of elementary school students’ work when Conference was in Miami. Several of our board members would like to see that continued. Other ideas from our board: we could work with area colleges that have programs that relate and perhaps offer some partial scholarships for selected students to attend the annual conference. We could be making contact with area colleges / professors in environmental studies to make sure they are aware of the annual conference as well as our meetings
