As of February 17, there's little to report. The Eugenia Chapter tent, with other nonprofits at Vero Beach's big Gardenfest was good for Eugenia's visibility, and we've got a bunch of new names and email addresses. What should be a popular field trip is Sunday.
FLHSMV reports only 321 vouchers sold as of Feb. 14. Up to 49 could possibly be waiting to be submitted by FNPS to FLHSMV, but that would do almost nothing to cure our lack of visibility in outdoor recreational communities that might be interested. We have a popular slogan, though perhaps not quite the right graphics to please everyone.
Sue Mullins reports that FLHSMV has no restrictions on printing and circulating replicas of the plate, with whatever set of letters we like. PLA NTS could work. Car stickers would be far cheaper than replica license plates, either plastic or paper. Circulating such items (with maybe a QR code at the registration spot) may take more time and ingenuity than we perhaps have.
