[Appointment of Ann Redmond to the position of VP of Finance on the board]

I hereby appoint Ann Redmond as Vice President of Finance on the Florida Native Plant Society Board of Directors until 2024

[Conservation Committee Report]

We met and reviewed the Conservation Grant applications. We narrowed the consideration to two and are looking at funding alternatives to make a final recommendation to the Board in the May meeting.

The Science Advisory Committee has completed evaluations of applications for the Cornelia McNamara grant and Endowment Research grants. Recommendations are contained in the report attached.

[Conference Committee Report]

My appologies for the tardiness.

Report includes current 2023 situation, which is acceptable for the Conference and slightly undewhelming for the field day sales.

The primary point for this meeting is for 2024. Please read the report for details if desired, but it is the recommendation of the Conference Committee to postpone the 2024 conference for one year and hold it in Gainesville in 2025.
