Everglades Coalition will host its 25th Annual Conference January 7 -10, 2010 at the PGA Resort.
“The Changing Face of Everglades Restoration” will seek to engage officials and diverse communities in the discussion of what restoration will look like now that the federal government is on board for its share and the state of Fl will buy up 70,000+ acres.

As the Florida Native Plant Society we should be able to articulate how native landscapes can aide in restoration. Plan to attend and communicate ideas. The SFWMD has talks ongoing called "The River of Grass" which takes community ideas and tries to sift for the best ideas. Plant people need to be at those meetings. Check sfwmd.gov for more details
