Greetings Board,

I wish to appoint Brenda Mills to the VP for Finance position.  Her term would expire this May.  The EXCOM has voted to approve this appointment, however her appointment requires Board approval.  Voting period will end on July 2nd.  Below is her Bio:
She was born and raised in Ft Lauderdale, graduated from UF with a BA in Business Administration and UM (Michigan NOT Miami) with an MS in Natural Resource Policy. After stints working for US Senate and Peace Corps, career focused on water resource planning and policy, namely Everglades restoration projects and the science to support them. Employed at South Florida Water Management District for the last 15 years and currently working on Central Everglades Planning Project and leading the Lower East Coast Water Supply Plan update.  She is accustomed to crunching numbers and using spreadsheets, and at the very least knows the basic principles needed to perform her duties as VP for Finance.  She will also be a great help to us with our own policy development as well as conservation issues.  This appointment would end in May 2014.  Brenda is also current Chapter Rep for Palm Beach.
